  • shaggy272 2012/09/15 13:17:29
    No, it's too early
He's a rookie that had a good game. He had a lot of help such as a 5 yard pass that turned into 88. Thats like saying the jets are the best team in football. Rediculous question.

After one game people are ready to put him in the Hall of Fame. REALLY??? Give it some time, the league will figure him out.

Running QBs have problems with longevity from injuries; I want him to succeed, he was great in college ; )

Give me a break. It's been one game. Mike Shannon is a genius. Let's see how it goes at midseason after people have seen some tape on him.

Everybody is potentially a candidate! He needs to play a lot of games to gey into the lead. Way too early!!!

  • ☆FritzW☆ 2012/09/14 19:40:26
    Yes, he's that good
I voted yes because I believe he's that good that I can see him taking the Redskins into the playoffs and if he does.. and he stays healthy, he could very well be an MVP candidate. But I'm also realistic in that he's a rookie and who knows what the season will bring. Let's be honest.. it's week one. And being a Giants fan I'm hoping he isn't what I think he can become. :)
  • Robert Strobel 2012/09/14 19:14:57
    Yes, he's that good
    Robert Strobel
Any body that plays good can be MVP.
  • fitz 2012/09/14 17:06:40
    Yes, he's that good
He has shown amazing maturity at this stage of his career, He's very intelligent, has a strong arm, and has foot speed when needed. He's a no brainer pick for stardom but, unfortunately, I'm a Dallas fan. I think that Washington got the best pick of the litter.

    No, it's too early
    Are you kidding?
    They've played 1 game.

I think Kirk Cousins (#12 in the picture) has done as good a job, for a lot less money, so far.
  • bwood254 Darr247 2012/09/14 15:52:36
Cousins is not RGIII obviously he couldn't make half the plays griffin does he is smart with the football rarely turns over the football and probably the most athletic QB in the nfl, which makes him more of a threat for defenses. You are right tho in a sense it's too early to judge still a long football season to play!!

    I agree Keith
  • Tennessee3501 2012/09/14 15:38:13
    Yes, he's that good
The season still has a long way to go, but there is no reason why a rookie should be disqualified because he is a rookie.
  • bye Tenness... 2012/09/14 22:39:42
    Well said.
  • Magus BN-0 Tenness... 2012/09/15 15:06:36
    Magus BN-0
Exactly right. If he puts in an MVP performance all season long, holding the fact that he's a rookie against him would be stupid.
  • J.Runae 2012/09/14 15:29:01

Still has the entire season to go.
  • mikeyavelli 2012/09/14 14:59:15

Please (1) one game???? Body of seasons work not one game, anyone who watches college football knew he was going to be a very good QB if surrounded by talent. Like great young baseball pitchers let's see him do it the entire season and how he handles the teams after they've seen him the second time around.

  • richard 2012/09/14 14:25:20
    Yes, he's that good
Yes hes on the way however i see him as the rookie of the year its hard to get mvp as a rookie but in the future he should bring multiple superbowls to Dc.
  • gaylehelen 2012/09/14 14:22:55

After one game? Come on, it's a long season. Let's wait and see.
  • whipnet 2012/09/14 14:19:12
    No, it's too early
Even though the Super Bowl champion is chosen long before the season starts, they usually don't pick the MVP until the 2nd game. (haha)

  • bye whipnet 2012/09/14 22:40:54
Ah so you aliens have been messing with the NFL? You know I watch the show Chasing UFO's they will find you.
