Rihanna and Joan Rivers are embroiled in a nasty catfight -- and the claws are really starting to come out. Last week, the 79-year-old comedienne tweeted her response to Rihanna's Oprah interview, in which she admitted that she still loves her abusive ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

"Rihanna confessed to Oprah Winfrey that she still loves Chris Brown. Idiot! Now it's MY turn to slap her," Joan tweeted. Rihanna then tweeted, "CONTROL YOUR SPEECH," adding, "wow u really do get slow when you're old huh," a comment she later deleted, according to Yahoo! Finally, she wrote: "Slap on some diapers."

But Rivers didn't seem to be terribly offended. In fact, she still wants Rihanna to be on her show: "Honey, @Rihanna, everyone knows: If he hit you once, he'll hit you again. Read the statistics. PS - Love to have you on Fashion Police."

No one is calling Joan a saint. I don't care about celebrity lives, I care about my life and those who are close to me, but if I have to keep hearing about this crap, I'm going to voice my opinion.
We all have flaws, I have many flaws, I've done terrible things, but I've never done anything as awful as defending, enabling, and supporting abusive behavior.

Look. Regardless of what Chris Brown did, a love like that doesn't just go away overnight. It's going to take time. It's going to be the mind warring with the heart. One knows she should stay away from that volatile situation, but the other is too busy remembering all the good times that are worth remembering. Unless you know what it's like, butt out.

And Joan Rivers gets on my nerves, anyway. I've never found her funny.

I hit the wrong button guys, I'm with Joan Rivers, If Rihanna goes back to Chris Brown her career will turn sour because no one likes Chris as much as Justin Beiber, If Joan can encourage her not get back with him then all this means is that Joan is representing the same opinion of millions of people including myself who feels the same way. Did I say she wasn't being judgmental? When i asked about what she's judging, I was implying that she was judging Rihanna's actions, not Rihanna's looks. Also, there's nothing wrong with judging a person's actions. If you bash Joan Rivers for judging, you're also judging Joan. Let's not be hypocritical here. We all judge. There's nothing wrong with it. The only time it's wrong is when we judge people based on circumstances they have no control over or circumstances that are completely unrelated to them.

You can love anyone or anything. It's what you do about it. If she's staying away from him , that's what matters. Being in an abusive relationship is not black and white. You can't automatically turn off your feelings for someone...that goes for any relationship. I don't get the problem in saying that you still love someone who hurt you. It sucks, but you can't really be mad at Rihanna for feeling that way.
