"Saturday Night Live" creator Lorne Michaels is peeved at Rihanna, despite a well-received performance on this week's show. The 24-year-old pop singer reportedly called in sick for final dress rehearsals -- which are done in front of a live studio audience right before filming -- then showed up for the actual broadcast looking fine. Choreographers took her place during the rehearsal.

According to TMZ, producers "can't even remember the last time someone has skipped the dress rehearsal." One of Rihanna's reps told TMZ, "[She] was sick and needed to save her voice for the live show." She did call a doctor into her dressing room just before the show for a shot of penicillin, but as viewers can attest, she looked perfectly fine on stage. Do you think "SNL" should invite her back?

Dang she said she was SICK, I have been sick one day looking like hell, the next day clean myself up and I am just fine... NO ONE IS PERFECT...

She was sick. what is SNL's excuse for not showing the skit on Obama and instead blasted FOX NEWS. This is the show that had a weekly nasty comment about Sarah Palin and it looks like the freedom of speech has been terminated when it comes to Obama.

She just needed to see a doctor was all but that doesn't mean she was feeling fine instantly, I mean she probably wearing a ton of makeup to hide how really sick she was. I mean give the woman a break, she's done really well in her career so far, just stop making a big f**king deal about it.

Wonder if you'd think it was a big deal had you been in the audience and expected to see her. The SNL dress rehearsal is done before an audience and video taped just in case something comes up during the live broadcast - have been in the audience for both a rehearsal and live broadcast I can assure you that standing in line for nearly 8 hours and then not to have the musical guest show up is more than disappointing. Sounds like Rihanna, who was expected to do about 10 minutes worth of work, might have been having a "diva" moment.

Don't bow down to the cult of celebrity! Let them know that rules apply to them as well as anyone else.

Damn! I would give a testicle to appear on SNL let alone jump through any hoops and follow any requirements they have.

She selfishly refused to participate in an important part of the show that is meant to make the studio audience feel special. She only showed up for the part that was good for her career and blew off the rest.

Much ado about nothing. She looked fine. She put in a good performance of her songs which from the audience's angle is all that matters. Not that her music is all that impressive or her singing... but visually it looked great. Anyway Lorne Michaels has other things to worry about... like some of SNL's dead weight.

This is one of those situations where it's just kind of meh. One the one hand, she was probably very sick, and on the other, people will show up sick to dress rehearsals because it's the last chance for everyone to run through the performance together.

Yeah. So, I've heard...Personally, I haven't watched since Will Farell. Those were the days. Around the same time, I though Mad TV was funnier overall.

Haven't watched since the early '90's. Miss Pat, Wayne's World, the Church Lady and the guy who worked the copy machine and made everyone's name so funny... Bob, Bob-ster, it's the Bob-inator. Really could care less about Rhianna.

Ive been sick. Well I looked extremely sick to but that doesnt mean you always have to look sick to be sick. If the lady felt bad to the point she needed penicillin then skip it. I agree with Meako, we are human and we cant be perfect.

Sounds like she pulled a total diva move on them. If you're sick you still don't ditch the dress rehearsal. That's just a given in showbiz.

I guess it all depends on the circumstances but even if she couldn't sing she could have asked for a track to lip sing too.
