"Saturday Night Live" creator Lorne Michaels is peeved at Rihanna, despite a well-received performance on this week's show. The 24-year-old pop singer reportedly called in sick for final dress rehearsals -- which are done in front of a live studio audience right before filming -- then showed up for the actual broadcast looking fine. Choreographers took her place during the rehearsal.

According to TMZ, producers "can't even remember the last time someone has skipped the dress rehearsal." One of Rihanna's reps told TMZ, "[She] was sick and needed to save her voice for the live show." She did call a doctor into her dressing room just before the show for a shot of penicillin, but as viewers can attest, she looked perfectly fine on stage. Do you think "SNL" should invite her back?

Dang she said she was SICK, I have been sick one day looking like hell, the next day clean myself up and I am just fine... NO ONE IS PERFECT...

She's absolutly unprofessional. I remember when she first came out, she came here and layed the local college. Tickets where steap, $200. She litterally played for 45mins, and then stopped. It pissed the fans off, whom she reacts to by swearing back at them

I think skipping because you are sick is fine. I just don't want SNL to invite her back because I am not that interested in her, but I really don't care enough to let it be the deciding factor on whether or not I watch the show.

Somebody could easily look fine but feel terrible or be sick one day and clean themselves up the next. Celebrities are people, not bloody machines and even then machines need a break too. Just calm down...

She used to be such a sweet girl making goood, cute music like "Pon De Peplay" and "SOS" now she's making dirty, raunchy songs. Some of them are good but you can notice her changing, it's sad.:/

SNL is not what it used to be. And they will do just ok without her. About the only talent I see in her is her talent for flashing. Any stripper can do that.

people do get sick,
It is very common for someone to feel crappy one minute and feel better later on.
They are making too much of a big deal out of something so trivial, it wasn`t the end of the world . The poor gal wasn`t feeling good at least she showed up later instead of not at all.

We've all had bad days, whether it was due to illness or not. Just because this time there was a fluke doesn't mean that Rihanna should be "banned" from SNL. Sinéad O'Connor on the other hand....

I've seen plenty of singers on shows like American Idol, in which they turn in a stellar performance just hours after being extremely ill. Aside from all the Chris Brown B.S, in my opinion, so long as Rihanna turned in a fine performance (Not all that common for SNL musical guests, these days!), she SHOULD be invited back. Of course, these decisions are ultimately up to the show's producer!

Not just because of her bad attitude. Because of her racist tweets to Chris Brown's new girlfriend, not to mention she's doing this because she "stole" her former ABUSER. Also, her songs used to be really good, now they're just extremely inappropriate.

I still do not know who this Rhianna is, but whenever I hear her name it is something about being ill mannered, spoiled, dressed stupidly, whatever, like that.

I have seen dress rehersels at the Metropolital Opera and the some singers will perform their roles soflty to not strain their voice, so her excuse is garbage.

Everyone else is working hard on the show, she can as well.

She should be invited to host the show and be the musical guest all at the same time. Her performance was excellent! Although, I am not a doctor, I would be glad to give her a complete physical examination for SNL free of charge!
