It's been a while since the public has seen Rihanna with her top off, so she addressed the problem herself. The pop singer posted a whole album of pictures to her Facebook account on Monday. The pics show Rihanna posing in various bikinis, applying sunscreen, feeling herself, taking off her top, partying on a boat... You know, the usual.

She's gone topless before for photo shoots and video shoots, but this set of pictures looks particularly amateurish and unplanned, as if she were just swimming around and it suddenly occurred to her that snapping off her bikini top would be the funniest thing in the world. It looks more like a willing feast for paparazzi than a sexy promotion. And it's got us thinking: Is Rihanna an exhibitionist?

She's comfortable in her own skin. She doesn't have the hangups that we Americans do about nudity. She's an island girl at heart. I love her.

I don't understand why we Americans have such an issue with nudity. I mean, Janet Jackson shows a nipple, and the next thing you know, Congress is calling a special session to address the crisis. It's ridiculous.

Not sure about exhibitionist but I think she does have some self-esteem (some?) issues. I have zero problems with nudity actually, the bell goes off because she felt the need to post them on the internet though, looking to either prove how happy she is or ....something. Ah well, give her credit, at least she didn't "leak" naked pictures of herself and then blame a hacker :P

The fact that she felt the need to post it on the internet kinda answers that question .There is nothing wrong with having fun but when you post it on the internet you want people to look and its all about keeping the fame .Maybe if it was a one time thing it could be let slip but its not like she has not done this thing before and continues to do it

I think this is another by product of the wonderful Chris Brown. To my knowledge she has not been in a meaningful relationship since then. She is extremely beautiful and yet can't get a guy for some reason. This makes her feel inadequate so she tries to spark interest with these little displays.

I dont think that many people doubt the fact that Rihanna enjoys showing off and the attention she gets for doing so.... but hell... I dont see anyone complaining about it and I dont see a reason for anyone to do so either.... she's not only got an awesome figure, the girl is actually pretty good looking......
Therefore I think the age old saying applies to her quite well - "If you got it, flaunt it" and also you might as well have some fun doing wild and crazy things while you are young and you can!!

just marketing, she knows it will be an attention getter, so it gets her name marketed. Sorta like Anna Nicole, Madonna, Brittney Spears They did wild things to market their product and or name, draw attention.

Maybe that is Rihanna's problem. Fans often tire easily. Fame diminishes, especially if fame was born from more hype than real talent. They start marketing more, doing more crazy stunts for attention. It can only hold attention for so long.

I personally think that she is a young woman, living a life of privilege, often feeling boredom, so she does things that draw attention to herself. You never know what color her hair is going to be, or what length. I think that deep within she still has feeling for Chris Brown, but she's allowing the media to dictate to her. Some people just don't know what to do with themselves when they have money. My mother (93 years old) came into a nice piece of money, and she bought one pillow for over a $100.00, when she was asked why she did that, her answer was, "because I could."
I am sure that her parents are not very happy with much of what she does, she's almost like a child acting out, it's childish and funny to her.

No, and if she were would it be a bad thing? As long as she's not harassing anyone with it- nudity is not a problem (I'm definitely not supporting flashers). I think that the paparazzi should kiss her ass- they need to GTFO. If I were a celebrity I'd go to my own private island.
