For myself, I'd really dislike the idea of sitting between Britney and Miley for anything longer than say, 15 minutes?

As far as I'm concerned, everything about "X Factor" is lame. The world didn't need yet another singing competition reality show. Still, Simon Cowell might want to consider hiring Miley Cyrus as a judge to boost its low ratings, especially to entice younger viewers. I would rather stick needles in my eyes then watch a single minute of "X Factor," with or without Miley's presence.

I wish i picked lame, not because of Miley, but because all the Judges now their talent is singing, NOT being music producers, like they once were...you know, people that actually know what the music business was all about. (Well that's what it used to be like, in the UK anyway) also i really miss the old audition process, where there wasn't a huge audience, its more about looks now than their singing, good old auto-tuning can do that for them.

More importantly, i really couldn't give a stuff what happens hahaha... its funny that half the people on SH will not read this, and its taken me a while to type....but what the heck!

If someone reads this... I LOVE YOU.

She sucks...........Only cause she had backing is the reason she is where she is today. They live not far from me, she is a conceded brat. She thinks she knows it all, she doesn't!

....though "lovely" isn't really the term I would use. But why not, she's a musical artist who has been around music all her life.

No one cares about her anymore, her new movie is guaranteed to flop hard, so reality TV is her only way to stay relevant. Just like Britney, Christina and J-Lo. But at least those three had years and years of success before entering hasbeendom. Miley just had Hannah Montana.

Shes made it far. After last year I wouldnt watch X Factor but she would be an asset. I think the shows a joke though. I hope theyre payin her a pretty penny. Im pretty sure most of the peope who do this poll havent gotten past the hannah montana thing (hey it made me wanta puke but the kids liked it) lets not forget that kid was noted for being more successful than elvis at one point.

I thought to be a judge on X Factor, or any other talent judging show, one must have actual talent. Last I checked, Miley Cyrus couldn't sing well enough to judge anybody else...

Excuse us, we thought being asked to be a judge on' X-Factor ' meant you had some actual singing and dancing experience above and beyond Disney-sponsored functions...Miley lacks credibility due to young age and general goofiness. She has done nothing except get herself boo'ed out of Australia, since leaving--or--aging out of Disney. That doesn't make convincing credentials to be a judge on any TV talent search...

Plus the age thing may come in handy because shed remember how she got started and knows how to point the contestants in a direction with dealing with whats expected as a professional performer before theyre old and can pretty much do what they want because of their name. Paula Abdul was so dried up id be suprised if she knew where to plug in a mic. If one thing didnt work. try somethin knew i guess.
  • mae tobe 2012/05/01 21:35:27

The minimum age for X-Factor was raised, so I'm thinking any contestants she would be mentoring would most likely be her age, or probably older. Paula Abdul has lots of issues, over-the-top Salary being one of them, and being a co-creator of yet another talent/dance search show is another. Miley could be a good addition from the youthful viewership standpoint...she might turn out to be a tough critic for performance, but a good mentor.
