During her acceptance speech for the Generation Award at the MTV Movie Awards, Reese Witherspoon took a stand for all the "good girls" in Hollywood.
Blake Lively was a presenter Sunday night and we wonder if this wasn't a dig to the "Gossip Girl" queen for her latest naked pix scandal.
Is Witherspoon right? Can "good girls" be "cool" in Hollywood?
"I get it, girls, that it's cool to be a bad girl. But it is possible to make it in Hollywood without doing a reality show. When I came up in this business, if you made a sex tape, you were embarrassed and you hid it under your bed. And if you took naked pictures of yourself on your cell phone, you hide your face, people!" she said in her acceptance speech. "So, for all the girls out there, it's totally possible to be a good girl. I'm going to try to make it cool."

ever notice that's how they act?
That said, I do hope for more Witherspoon's.
I don't really like her music and I don't consider it "Country", but she is a good girl and does seem to be fairly successful.
Retro rules.
Personally, I'm SICK of hearing about the exploits of Hilton, Lohan, etc.
Bravo, Ms. Witherspoon!
Scandals sell like Hell, but in the meanwhile people still show sympathy for the good girls
