On Monday morning, just hours after celebrating his birthday with friends at Club Liv in Miami, rapper Rick Ross was apparently shot at while driving in Fort Lauderdale with his girlfriend. Luckily neither of them were hurt, but Ross was forced to crash his car. The reported attack comes a month after a street gang known as the Gangster Disciples threatened to kill Ross via an online video. The shooting has not officially been linked to the gang.

Eerily, Ross recently released a new track -- a remix of LA rapper Kendrick Lamar's song "B**** Don't Kill My Vibe" -- with lyrics that appear to reference the incident. In one verse, he raps "Sometimes I look in the mirror, I can't believe I'm alive" and goes on to say he's "wishing death" on those who want to hurt him.
It's unknown whether the track was recorded before or after the incident, but this isn't the first time he's recorded after a scare; when he suffered two seizures in October 2011, he recovered quickly and released a mixtape and an album within six months of the incident. Do you think that Rick Ross should go into hiding?

He probably had this staged to resemble Tupac & Biggie. He's not on their level.
1- I do not consider Ross a rapper, and anyone who does should just GTFOH.
2- He has a girlfriend?! Have you seen tis guy without his shades? Blleuugh!
3- His rap culture glorifies killing and gun violence, so this is bad karma I guess. Sound harsh? Well, I am thinking about the needless deaths that have ensued because of this disgusting culture.
It should be sorted into the "Talk Show" criteria...
But who the hell is Rick Ross?
entertainer genre and rap ain't music.
As big as his vehicle is,
No bullet holes were found.
He wants to be in the spotlight.
