I haven’t kept up with this matter, but what I do know is that I think his “wife” cheated on him and that might be what has caused him to drink.

I think that's how he has chosen to grieve and I say let him grieve and may he have the strength to overcome this great betrayal;.

When a spouse cheats it has to be such a painful experience that one’s soul has been literally touched.
