  well I think liking a band just because someone unaffiliated with the band helped them out once is kinda lame. Like a band for their own merits. not the merits of someone who played drums for them once
  
  that would be like liking dave grohl and the foo fighters just because he was the nirvana drummer. or liking Apocalyptica because the rammstein singer occasional does lyrics for them.
