Purported Photos of Naked Prince Harry Make the Rounds: Will This Hurt His Image or Help It?

We're not sure if this will hurt Prince Harry's image ... or help him tremendously. TMZ published photos of the Queen's 27-year-old grandson getting butt-naked with an equally naked woman during a game of strip billiards -- and it looks like the pics might be legit.

The gossip site reports that Harry was partying in a Las Vegas hotel suite for high rollers with a room full of friends -- including women they met at the bar. A rep for the Royal Family told TMZ, "We have no comment to make on the photos at this time," but a royal source confirmed to Reuters that the two photos were of Harry.

"He's been doing a lot of good work for the queen and getting a good reputation and although a lot of people think this is a great laugh, it does actually bring the monarchy into disrepute and will embarrass the queen," royal author Robert Jobson told the news agency. Well, princes just wanna have fun, right?

I wasn't really sure how to answer this..and if there had been a button for "neither"..I would have chosen that. It will certainly embarass the Queen..not that he cares..obviously..and it puts on display the total lack of even a modicum of modesty displayed regularly by Europeans. He is a public figure and could conceivably be KIng one day if anything were to happen to his brother..he is a role model..whether he likes it or not..and he should conduct himself as that..for kids that are paying attention..better to be an example of a good man with integrity and character rather than as a careless playboy. Otherwise..I am sure this will be quite a yawn for most people that fall into the "who cares" category.

Hurt it but not a lot.... He is after Royalty and bounces back with no problems. He is not a direct heir to the Throne . Harry is the out going and happy acting one of Diana's two boys... He does as he wants to do.. He is taking after his Uncle - Prince Andrew aka Randy Andy and its sure never hurt Prince Andrew much if any at all....

Somewhere in life you have to have an expectation of privacy, sneak a camera into any sexually active persons private space a sooner or later you will get a "scandal photo". Naked billiards in the privacy of a hotel suite? Oh yeah that's gonna happen with the regular folks too. Give the man his chance to mate and date for crying out loud.

It's not as if he took them himself. The damned paparazzi invaded his privacy. What sane human would send pictures of a naked prince to the news after sneaking onto his property and taking photos of him while he is vulnerable? This needs to be illegal. No doubt, though, people will accuse him of purposely taking these or agreeing for them to be taken, easily hurting his rep.

What . . . you can't expect the royal's to be . . . Too royal. They've got there own lives, They can enjoy it if they want . It's not Like they want to be in the paper's & media 24/7 Such as Philip, he can't even go to the hospital without media saying "He's in hospital :O" . But yh they can be funny at times ^,^

Harry has frequently stripped to various degrees. There arre many pics of his hunky body out there it's all im the spirit of saucy fun. He's a fun kid with an exhibitionist streak - unlike many exhibitionists, he's got something worth exhibiting.

The monarchy has weathered more severe scandals with their married couples - this fun-loving young man will probably be scolded by the queen and be asked to tone it down. Then life will go on for Prince Harry. This little embarrassing episode will pass. He is adorable and while it doesn't help his reputation, it certainly isn't going to hurt it.

The Prince like it or not does have different standards to live up to. He has gotten nailed too many times in public. I guess Prince Charles will have to rein him in some. Plus his Army CO may chew his butt out. Queen is probably pissed too. His brother just rescued a girl while flying his helicopter, and he is frollicking with trollops. I guess he will pay for his play on this one. Probably the one who will get the biggest kick in the arse will be the ones detailed to prevent such actions accoring in the first place. He may have a new body guard this time next week.

Did he ask to be royalty when he was born? No. He's still just another dude who enjoys a good time, and between his royal duties and military service he deserves to do his thing if it doesn't hurt anyone.

Hey, he could be backing an inquisition or something. Figures of English royalty did that stuff all the time centuries ago and got away with it- is being naked that big a deal?
