A recent analysis from Forbes found that Drew Barrymore is, by the numbers, the most overpaid actress in Hollywood -- earning her studios about 40 cents on every dollar they pay her. But when we asked SodaHeads who they thought the most overpaid actor was, we got a different answer.
The celeb you think gets paid way too much money to be in movies is the star of such timeless classics as "Land of the Lost," "Semi-Pro," and the 2005 film remake of "Bewitched." Will Ferrell may have landed some good roles in the past ("Saturday Night Live," "Elf," "Old School"), but the public has turned against him in a big way.
Who's the Most Overpaid Actor?
37% Think Will Ferrell Is OverpaidEven though Ferrell's career saw some improvement this year (he went from earning studios $3.35 on the dollar to $3.50), it wasn't enough to reel in the public. It seems like most people jumped ship around the time "Land of the Lost" came out, but he still manages to get roles because he's still making a profit.

Awful Across the Board
Will Ferrell didn't just lose the popular vote, he lost in just about every demographic. Nobody seems to like this guy. Women are against him, men are against him, teens are against him, seniors are against him, atheists are against him, Christians are against him... Just about the only groups he didn't lose were Buddhists and widows. (And there weren't many of those.)
A Star-Crossed ActorEven when you look at the astrological results, Ferrell loses every sign. Whether you believe in that kind of thing or not, the sheer randomness of the statistic usually merits a few unique results. Eddie Murphy, Drew Barrymore, and Reese Witherspoon duke it out over a few signs, but Ferrell gets the majority every time.
The 'Twilight' FactorThe comment with the most "raves", however, went to someone who cast their vote to Robert Pattinson -- leading vamp in the "Twilight" series -- and his presence in this poll is enthusiastically noted. That said, it would be difficult at this point to remove Pattinson from the "Twilight" equation, and to the chagrin of many, "Twilight" makes
bank. He's worth his weight to Summit Entertainment because they have a franchise that works, but only time will tell if he can keep it up.

But I can't remember the last time Adam Sandler made me laugh.
I feel like he never has.
Trust me, he's wayyyy overpaid.
I wonder why so many people don't like him.
Will Ferrel in your movie = Xmillion more dollars. Will Ferrel get that much.
So when people say 'Aww thats too much' then you are saying the producers should keep the money?
Are you saying that you think the company ought to just keep x-million dollars for themselves?
Why should they be getting a massive overpayment?
And what can I say - I am one of those people who does go see movies if they say 'Will Ferrel' on the marquee.
Mind you.. I got burned a few times. Then again I also enjoyed the hell out of my $10 too.
So he should get it.
If not then why would Joey Silverman and Max Weinberg get that money instead?
The man's given some great performances in the past, but wow, he's put out some crap product the past few years. Sorry bout your damn luck!
