One Million Moms has a bone to pick with NBC's newest sitcom, "The New Normal." The show depicts a single mother who agrees to be a surrogate parent for a gay couple, but OMM is calling it "harmful to our society" and "damaging to our culture." OMM has been known to take issue with things that promote homosexuality as "normal," such as a lesbian kiss found in an Urban Outfitters catalog earlier this year. But is "The New Normal" really harmful for society? We asked the public.

One Million Moms are not without their supporters, but "The New Normal" has them out-numbered. Nearly twice as many people agreed the show would not be damaging to our culture. But this particular poll was extremely divided across several different demographics, so before we get into the reasoning behind the results, let's break it down.
Hesitant Men
Some of the demographic responses were predictable, and to some extent we could expect male voters to be more resilient to the show. Typically, the male vote is more hesitant when it comes to promoting homosexuality. However, they were especially resistant to this one. They were more than twice as likely as women to think "The New Normal" is harmful to society.
Kids Don't Care
The age breakdown was a little bit more predictable, but even here the proportions were surprising. The difference between the oldest age group (65+) and the youngest age group (13-17) was more than 60%, and its support dropped off pretty consistently throughout. That seems to lend credibility to the show's title -- it is becoming more "normal."
Modern Families
One of the more interesting juxtapositions wasn't even within a single category. Given the age breakdown, it was obvious that single voters would respond to the show more positively than married voters; likewise, voters without kids responded more positively than parents. However, there was a notable difference between parents and married voters. Parents actually responded more positively to the TV show by about 12%.

Studies show the best environment is two parents, not necessarily male and female... I can provide plenty of scholarly links with no political or religious bias, if you aren't capable of Googling it yourself.
Besides morality has nothing to do with this. Marriage came before morals.
What gets me, the State wants to Impose this homosexuality on us, and we cannot resist it, despite winning all the votes and elections. The state owns all the media (or rather the small group that owns all the media is also the cabal in control of the economy (thus the state) the last 30 plus years).
There is no democracy. This is oppression.
Is this a deliberate attempt to destroy us as a people and lead to our genocide from insufficient children?
Marriage is the formal recognition of a natural biological unit, the family. Never ever was it just about "lovers".
We need to protect biological families as essential to our future survival as a culture, a people, as a species even. Families bear, raise, and educate the next generation. Bachelors are sacrificed to help protect and care for families.
I deeply resent that I might be sacrificed to protecting a couple of cowardly sissies pretending to be women, because they are "married".
Homosexual couples do not contribute to the survival of my people. It detracts from our survival.
I also admit I deeply resent homosexual activists for doing this to marriage. How much of our population is alienated by this?
It is after all Politically Correct as well as Liberally fair....Somebody call the ACLU, and get it on TV now!!...
It's one hell of a restraint going through your life alone, without relationships or the kind of affection that you see others enjoy and portray throughout their lives. It makes one miserable and bitter knowing that you'll never get to experience those meaningful joys of life, and overall I think feeling forced to be miserable and bitter is much more harmful to the individual and those around that individual than letting that individual enjoy a consensual relationship with a person of their choice.
You know that society is in a dangerous and broken place when the President's 'Safe School Czar' is on record as saying that getting the gay agenda into schools is the ultimate goal. This is the same man who was behind the incident known as'Fistgate' and if the outcry over 'Fistgate' wasn't enough they then decided to have 'Fistgate II' where instead of just teaching fisting procedures to schoolkids they actually gave out 'fisting' kits so as they could all give it a try. 'Fistgate II' was a display of the absolute contempt they hold for those that don't agree with their agenda and to demonstrate that in today's broken society they have substantial 'power'.
If you aren't sure what 'fisting' is rest assured that it is one of the many ways that gay men express their love for each other 'safely' . If you r...

If you aren't sure what 'fisting' is rest assured that it is one of the many ways that gay men express their love for each other 'safely' . If you really need to know (it's most likely worse than you could imagine) then go to Wikipedia and search the term. It is not safe for work so browse at your own risk.
I actually feel quite sorry for any kids growing up and being educated within today's system. Most of them have no idea that they are being taught outright lies and manipulated propaganda. Oh, and of course any dissent from the party line is bigotry, hatred, racism, antisemitism and/or any number of other negative social labels that can be applied.
