The films have been reviewed, the awards have been handed out and the red carpet has been rolled up. The 2013 Academy Awards are officially over... but we're still scratching our heads about Seth MacFarlane as host. The man who's best known for creating "Family Guy" received mixed reviews as the MC of the night, so naturally, we wanted to know what SodaHeads thought. Interestingly enough, you liked him. You really, really liked him. A solid 61% voted that Mr. MacFarlane was "amazing" compared to the 39% who said he was "awful." Let's dig deeper.

YOUNGSTERS LOVE HIM, OLDIES PASS
As expected, age had a lot to do with whether or not you appreciated Seth MacFarlane's inappropriate banter. The youngest age group (13-17) was the most supportive of Seth, with 77% saying he was "amazing," while the oldest crowd (65+) was the least impressed with the host, with only 25% appreciating his hosting.
WOMEN WANT SETH
... well, maybe not in a romantic way. But surprisingly enough, they do appreciate the guy. Women were actually more likely to say that Seth was a great host (at 67%) than men were (at 58%), which is a bit shocking considering that a good portion of the MC's jokes revolved around semi-sexist quips and songs about boobies.
THE RICH ARE RUBBED THE WRONG WAY
There were few demographics who thought Seth MacFarlane was more awful than amazing -- but there were some. And one of them were those who made more than $100,000 a year, with 56% saying he was awful. Guess those rich guys don't like his type of humor. We wonder if they watch "Family Guy"...

He made jokes of the jokes that didn't work. Unless you're familiar with his brand of humor, you may not find anything about him funny. Luckily for him, I'm easily entertained.

Those who liked him should not own guns or drive cars as they have demonstrated they are irresponsible.
My 11 year old grandson wanted to watch another program, but when MacFarlane sang the "I saw your boobs" song he was hooked.
I think this Oscar Night was one of the most entertaining in a long time.
And he's super cool
But whatever
