It's time for yet another season of "Dancing With the Stars," and this one's ripe with controversy. Not controversy in the Chaz Bono sense, but controversy over the fact that producers seem to have forgotten about the "star" part of the game. That is to say, no one knows who these people are.
We've got Jaleel White (Steve Urkel from "Family Matters"), Melissa Gilbert (Laura Ingalls Wilder from "Little House on the Prairie"), Sherri Shephed (host on "The View"), and a few others. But even the "big ones" are minor names compared to contestants of the past. With limited options, we ran the list by the public to see who made the best impression.

The press is boasting Urkel as the big name this season (season 14, by the way), but your favorite "Little House on the Prairie" star took a strong lead. Jaleel and Sherri Shepherd were neck-and-neck, literally lying at 664 votes a piece when we took the results. "Today" show correspondent Maria Menounos wasn't far behind, but after that votes were abysmal. Katherine Jenkins? Roshon Fegan? Who are these people?
Katherine Jenkins

Instead of breaking down the demos, we thought we'd introduce some of the bottom of the barrel. Katherine Jenkins, who happened to get dead last in the poll with only 2%, is a Welsh opera singer, and this actually isn't her first time on "Dancing With the Stars." She performed with a 46-piece orchestra in April 2011. Apparently no one noticed. We certainly didn't.
Roshon Fegan

We'll skip tennis legend Martina Navratilova because, well, she's a tennis legend, and Roshon Fegan only got a few more votes. This 20-year-old actor is best known for his role in "Camp Rock," a Disney Channel movie. At least, that's what Google tells us. Soon he'll be best known for his role on "Dancing With the Stars."
Jack Wagner

Jack Wagner is one of those mediocre multi-talents -- soap operas, made-for-TV movies, and a few charting albums in the '80s. The last time he did anything noteworthy was in 2005, when he released the critically ignored "Dancing in the Moonlight" and received a Daytime Emmy nomination for "The Bold and the Beautiful."

How can you have a favorite on a dance contest when no one has danced yet?
You can't. This show is a popularity contest and without a pre-existing fan base of substantial strength, you can't win.
Anyway, with that said, Jaleel White is most likely getting all of my votes.
