It's still unclear just what happened between Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian to cause them to break up, but people make their assumptions. They clearly weren't ready, but where was the point of contention? Based on some unnamed sources close to the couple, Us Weekly suggested that Kris had been verbally abusive toward Kim. Unnamed sources are never a good sign, but when Kris made an off-putting comment about Kim's weight ("God, you ate a lot of wedding cake!"), Us offered the clip as further evidence. We got a difference answer when we asked SodaHeads.
Kim Kardashian's Ex Takes a Jab at Her Weight: Hurtful or Harmless?

55% Think It's All in Good Fun
No one's saying it's okay to make fun of a girl's weight -- we definitely don't recommend it -- but in this particular situation, most people thought it was just a playful jab. After all, Kim was laughing the entire time. It sounded bad because it came out right after rumors of Kris' supposed verbal abuse, but when you watch the clip it's tough to pin the comment as serious. However, some still worried it was just a happy face for the camera. One commenter wrote, "Guys have no idea how much they can damage a girl's mind. It may seem small and insignificant, but alot of women are more sensitive than people think."

Gender-Neutral

Believe it or not, men and women saw eye-to-eye on this one. Presumably, women would be more likely to empathize with weight issues, as they're statistically more likely to suffer from weight issues or eating disorders, such as bulemia and anorexia. But the consensus was clearly based on the assumption that Kris was just teasing her.
Christians Show More Concern
Atheists and agnostics both dismissed the comments as "Harmless" with 82% and 72% of the vote respectively, but Christians nearly raised the alarm. However, even the church stopped short of calling the comments hurtful, with a slight majority dismissing the comments as well.
Smokers Say Relax

The smokers voted strongly in favor of taking a chill pill. He was just having some fun. Maybe the media is getting a little worked up over this. It's good to know there are some people out there keeping self-image issues in check, but we should probably take a cue from the smokers and let this one slide. If Kris says something legitimately hurtful, you'll probably hear about it.

The media is just marking him as a villian, for no reason.
SHE can go to hades, HE deserves far better.
