John Travolta is the latest celebrity to be accused of sexual harassment, and if these claims are true it could be a life changer. Two male masseurs say the "Pulp Fiction" star made inappropriate advances toward them, and are currently trying to sue. Their lawyer says more claimants are lining up. Obviously, there's not enough information to be sure, but we asked the public if it's likely.

Your reputation is safe for now, John. The charges are serious, and there are enough gay rumors to last him a lifetime, but there's simply not enough evidence to point any fingers. One commenter wrote, "I don't see it. I see a bad economy, a famous rich actor, and two men who are backed by a paid con-man who are desperate to get the big bucks." The word "attention whores" was thrown around quite about. However, for the record, a lot of respondents would rather stay out his business altogether.
Men Are More Convinced

We were surprised to see that men were 20% more likely than women to believe Travolta is guilty. This might have something to do with the gay rumors. It's possible that women are focused on the lady's man persona he sometimes exudes, while men are focused on the possibility that he might be gay.
Middle-Aged Misgivings

Suspicion seemed to increase in the middle of the age range, rising from about 26% for teens to a peak of 47% in the 25-34 bracket. After that, it fell back down to 29% for the over-65 crowd. People Travolta's age were a bit less suspicious than the general public at about 33%. That might not say anything about the likelihood of the charges being true, but it's worth noting.
Bisexuals Don't Buy It

Sexuality is obviously a big part of this debate. If he's not gay (or bisexual), there would be no reason to believe the charges. But the rumors that have surrounded him for years make it questionable. Bisexual voters felt very strongly that Travolta is innocent, whereas homosexual voters were more likely to believe he's guilty as charged.

Flamingolady 2012/05/12 23:10:19+4John Travolta seems, at the very least, to be a really nice guy. This does not at all seem likely. I would say he is NOT guilty of the charges, So many times, the stories like this are not true, the stars are victims of scam artists.

Now they're regrouping, restating their dates, playing musical lawyers, hiring Gloria Allred to pump up credibility. (They sure got *that* move backward!)
What's next? Mel Gibson as their next spokesman?
Good job, vague picture guy. Refuted all doubt... sorta. No, not really.
But hey, gay guys kissing are wonderful! Spread the news! That guy has gay kissing photos on his computer!
Yah, still don't care.
Just no.
I do not believe this crap!
