The American Music Awards weren't just about music on Sunday. Fashion faux pas was in full swing, and we zeroed in on three unfortunate fashionistas who got some unwanted attention for their wardrobe choices.
Christina Aguilera's skin-tight slip, Jennifer Lopez's sheer catsuit, and Kelly Clarkson's sequined Jessica Rabbit dress each received their fair share of speculation, but only one could come out worst-dressed. We asked SodaHeads who it was, and the answer was abundantly clear.

Worst Dressed at the American Music Awards?
51% Spurn J.Lo's Suit
Sorry, J.Lo, but the masses have spoken and that semi-see-through suit just didn't cut it this year. However, the majority of people who voted against Lopez weren't just criticizing her sense of style -- they were criticizing her lack of originality. Several respondents noted Britney Spears' use of a similar outfit during her "Toxic"-era performances, and one commenter exclaimed, "She stole this outfit from Cher's closet!"
Kelly Clarkson hardly drew any criticism for her "Roger Rabbit" retro raiment, coming in more classy than trashy, but still received a fifth of the vote. Even Aguilera got off pretty clean. There was a lot of vocal support for curvy women, despite Aguilera's past criticisms of curvy chicks herself.
Women Weigh the Vote
Men were evenly split among all three singers, indicating their vote was either based on personal preference or was completely arbitrary. Women, on the other hand, completely changed the outcome of the vote. They were overwhelmingly opposed to J.Lo's leotard, with 72% voting her the worst-dressed.

Though the discussion had a lot to do with weight, voter weight had absolutely no effect on how they voted. Respondents generally conceded that J.Lo has the best body, but the biggest weight-related sample bases -- slender, average, and love handles -- each voted Lopez the worst dressed by about 60%, with the remaining votes split between Aguilera and Clarkson.
Clarkson Feigns Classy
Though Clarkson's dress was clearly meant to emulate eras gone by, voters over the age of 45 were not impressed. In fact, half of them voted her the worst dressed, while hardly any younger voters picked her. It looks like many of them felt Clarkson's dress was too bright and sparkly. One voter compared it to an "ugly Christmas ornament."

They all did their thing and look Wonderful doing it.
And the crotch of J-lo's looks weird.
I think Christina should have worn something more suited to her body type.. That is way too tight, it's unflattering. And Kelly Clarkson just.. Yeah.. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't such an obvious Jessica Rabbit rip off, therefore making my mind compare her automatically to Jessica Rabbit.. Which is not looking good for Kelly Clarkson. No competition..
My Reaction To J-Lo's Outfit ---> O_O
to me, Kelly looks the worst.. Poor thing -she looked like a over-stuff -Christmas oriment. Showing her curves is good, just have to be careful how you do it. A slit up to the thigh on the side of her leg would have made her look less stuffed, more sexy...
And Marc Anthony was a killer. He's the most turn on guy in music today.
