Blue Ivy Carter became a Billboard-charting artist before the world even laid eyes on her, and tabloids were chomping at the pacifier to get an exclusive shot. But Jay-Z and Beyonce kept their cool and turned down every offer that came their way. They released the pictures themselves, on their own time -- and in extremely high quality. Now the whole world knows what she looks like, and it's having a blast trying to match the baby's features with her incredibly famous parents. There are fair arguments on both sides, from industry-folk and observers alike, but we wanted to hear from the public.

28% Think She Looks More Like Beyonce
Some babies do turn out looking like one parent and not the other, leaving friends and family to harbor suspicion. But little Blue has the markings of both. However, several people seem to think the baby looks like the 19-year-old guy who wrote the Top Opinion, so we have to offer him as a third-place contender. Can somebody get Maury Povich out here? We've got a paternal emergency!
Liberals Lean Toward Beyonce
Rutgers University in New Jersey is now offering a class called "Politicizing Beyonce," but the professor teaching the class swears it isn't "a course about Beyoncé's political engagement." If it had been, and the class got into a heated debate over which parent Blue Ivy looked like most, the liberals in the class would probably say Beyonce.
Graduates Go With Jay-Z
Not much support for Team Jay-Z, but he did land the graduate students. The resemblance is a little tougher to spot, but it's there. As Rachel Florio-Urso -- a so-called "celebrity baby trend expert" -- said, "There's something from the eyebrows to the mouth that you see a lot of daddy." In other words, the face.
Drinkers See More B
Actually, the drinkers' vote was closer to the overall, thanks to a good amount of unregistered votes who also see a lot of B. The nondrinkers vote was more interesting. Only 19% of them thought Blue looked more like Beyonce -- about the same percent that said Jay-Z. Sober reckoning suggests the genes are pretty evenly expressed.
