There was a lot of mystery that shrouded music icon Michael Jackson when he was alive, but one thing is for sure: He did not want his kids to be in the spotlight. In fact, he went to great lengths to protect their identities whenever they were in public. Prince, Paris and Blanket were often seen wearing masks on shopping excursions with their world famous dad.

But it’s been almost three years since the King of Pop passed away and now his children seem to be playing by their own rules. Hence the fact that the eldest son, Prince Michael I, has signed on to be a correspondent on “Entertainment Tonight.”
Of course, his sister Paris has already done the talk show circuit with Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres. And in 2011 she signed on to star in the film “Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys.” But her big brother seemed to be flying under the radar. That is until the 16-year-old’s debut this week on the red carpet at the premiere of “Oz the Great and Powerful.”

Maybe Jacko would have felt his kids were old enough to make the move to center stage. But according to all accounts, he wanted them to wait until they were 18 to get into showbiz. What do you think: Would Michael Jackson approve of his kids itching to be in the spotlight?

All born to a light-skinned (White) and dark-skinned (Black) parent.
2) Even if they aren't biologically his children (even though there actually is evidence to suggest that they are), he raised them, ergo, he was their parent.
Good for them.
