Doesn't she understand that she is pregnant? That outfit she is wearing doesn't seem to be very appropriate either.

I don't like this girl at all but is it really our flipping business. She could have slipped no matter her footwear. Pregnancy makes us clumsy....http://www.google.c...

Just showing how responsible a mother she will be before she pops the kid out. Style (if you can call it that) over caring for her child's well being.

Each individual should have the freedom to decide for themselves if their footwear is suitable or not. We certainly don't need the state to decide such matters for us. I have no desire to live in a police state.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These people are morons or have never been pregnant or something because I've been pregnant three times and each time I was SO clumsy would bump into everything and slip and fall barefooted or with tennis shoes. Actually, the few times I would wear heels or platforms I was more graceful. From what I understand about Snookie she can't walk and chew gum at the same time but who are we to tell her what to wear on her feet?????

Considering the stress on your ankles, I don't know why you would want to... but people can trip walking barefoot across a flat surface, so I wouldn't worry about them as a tripping hazard. People like Snooki should be able to walk well enough in high-heels that stumbles are about as likely to happen as when wearing shoes.

Somebody better tell Snooki that it's not safe wearing heels when your pregnant. Tripping or falling can happen and she can harm her baby! Even if you think you can wear heels don't take the chance because it's better to be safe then sorry! Snooki, take them damn heels off!!

In my book- it's never okay to wear high heels. However, wearing high heels when you're pregnant can put considerable stress on your joints.

''High heels alter your posture, shorten your calf muscles and place increased pressure on your back and knees.

''In pregnancy this places extra pressure on your joints when they are already under strain, which can result in a host of foot, leg and back problems and could increase the likelihood of falls.

''Shoes like ballet pumps, flip flops and Ugg boots are also unsuitable for daily wear in pregnancy because they don't provide your feet with the necessary support.

( From Lorraine Jones from the Association of Podiatry)
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/he...

Shoes with adequate support sound like a must have to me.

If you know how to walk in them I don't see the problem. I mean you can easily trip in other shoes as well.

You are correct, but, the world doesn't need another one. I would like to have high hopes that said baby will grow up and realize that his/her mother is a public embarrassment and get wise, but I'm sure that won't be the case. Our world is doomed if morons keep reproducing..

It's stupid to wear high heels any time you're at greater risk for falling. Just like it's stupid for kids, grandmas with osteoporosis, and one legged people to wear high heels. Why don't people seem to understand that?
