In the wake of high-profile breakup, it's hard to know what Melissa Etherridge means by "Fearless Love." It's also hard not to read between the lines of songs like "Miss California" (sample lyric: "What did I do wrong/You act like you never knew me"). Whether or not "Fearless Love" is confession or fiction, it's tailor-made for Etheridge fans: full of big choruses, tales of longing, and big, loud wails.
