Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have always said they wouldn't get married until gay marriage was legal in every state, but in the last few months, it seems they've been getting impatient. Now we might have the first scrap of evidence that the two are actually preparing to get married. Jolie was wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring on Wednesday -- and on Friday, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed it with jeweler Robert Procop.

A representative for Procop proudly told THR, "I can confirm that, yes, Robert Procop did indeed design an engagement ring for Angelina Jolie, designed in collaboration with Brad Pitt ... Brad was always heavily involved, overseeing every aspect of the creative design evolution. The side diamonds are specially cut to encircle her finger. Each diamond is of the highest gem quality." Do you think the fact that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may be engaged is adorable... or kind of anticlimactic?

If they love each other and they're living their lives together, then they're already married. Getting the law involved is totally unnecessary and divisive.

On the other hand, if they've fallen out of love, then they need to part ways on their own terms. The last thing they need is for some legal documents to force them to stay together or go to court to divide their assets.

If they care about marriage at all, they should totally oppose the legality of it. Not to say it should be a crime, only that it shouldn't be a matter of law. The law ought to be completely neutral on the subject.

I dont hate anyone.....period...not even the fruits. But I do not believe that they should be allowed to marry. Civil unions for being to qualify for benefits sure.......but NOT marriage....not matter if you love your niece or not.
