Pippa Middleton has received widespread criticism for her book about entertaining, "Celebrate: A Year of Festivities for Families and Friends." The reluctant celebrity, famous for being Kate Middleton’s sister, has had her party planning tips accused of being “the wrong way to celebrate” by The Daily Telegraph.

In response, Pippa has written an article – again for the Daily Telegraph – defending her book against her critics, including the Daily Mail, who called her tomato soup recipe “terrifying.”
She explains that despite the book's simple recipes and sometimes obvious tips, she’s actually “a real foodie,” who has cooked dishes like slow-braised pig’s cheek, pigeon-breast salad and venison stew.
However, she wanted the book to have “something that was achievable,” that “people would have on their shelves for years,” that wasn’t “too fussy.” She adds that the book was “a labor of love,” and that she obsessed “over every detail.” Do you think Pippa knows what she’s talking about?

Stef and the City 2012/11/06 19:08:05No+6Pippa, you'll always play second fiddle to your sister. Now get over it and move on.

Honestly, I don't know the first thing about her or her book. I just couldn't resist being snarky.
need to let go of your older sister's coattails and find a more legitimate way to make your
contribution to society.
Doesn't matter what her name is.
I'm sure if she's knowledgeable in cooking and putting together foods that she likes, it's simply a book of foods and things she likes. Nothing wrong with that. Not everyone likes the same things. Not everyone likes what I like, but it doesn't bother me. They can take it or leave it.
so naturally she has no freaking idea what she's on about
i think she ought to change her name to Simpleton
but you can't let big sis out do you don't you know!
