Totally Agree

A civil union or any other contract between two or more people for whatever purpose is just that, a civil union.
Marriage is the domain of the church, temple, synagog or whatever religious organization you belong to. Civil unions are the domain of the government. The two should not cross. The government should not issue marriage licenses, nor should they extend any special benefits or privileges to "married" persons. (That amounts to discrimination against singles.)
Marriage is not a right. This is true whether you are same gender or opposite gender. It is regulated by the governing authority that grants the license/ceremony. The same is true of civil unions, whether it be a union for the purpose of sex, companionship, sports, business or whatever.

"Some, they like it easy
When others, they like it rough
But ain't nobody gotta like it but you
>Girl, boy, boy, girl, girl, girl, boy, boy<
Whatever, you should do what you do
How could they tell you that you coulda-shoulda-woulda
When ask them can they walk in your shoes
Cuz it's your life and you do what you wanna
And remember baby, it's all about you"
It's enough that the law doesn't throw their asses in jail for sodomy anymore, gay folks need to stay out of the institution of marriage.
because they know we have that right they just havent admitted that we do.
