First of all, fie to you PETA for forcing me to take sides with Honey Boo Boo. Your treachery will never be forgotten this day.
Second, does PETA even take themselves seriously? No one else does.

Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson has a new pet chicken, but PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) aren’t too happy with the name she has chosen for it: Nugget. According to E!, the organization has sent her a letter suggesting a different name "in order to honor her as your friend and protect other chickens just like her."

The letter, written by PETA rep Michelle Cho, says that “chickens are smart, interesting animals with personalities of their own," and suggests that Alana rename her chicken “Not a Nugget” so that people know that “they should be nice to chickens by not eating them."
Cho also says that Alana doesn’t have to stop eating chicken nuggets, because "there are yummy vegan-chicken nuggets in grocery stores today that taste just like meat.” Perhaps she hasn’t seen “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo”? Do you think the letter is understandable or a total overreaction?

I mean, when we had a farm, we called our annual calf "Hamburger".
When I kept snakes, we called the mice "Appetizer".
Guess I am realll bad by PETA terms.
Wait, never mind that. You proved your incompetence a long time ago. It's practically in your records now, sealed in there forever, and nothing you can do will erase that from your reputation.
Oh, and..."Cho also says that Alana doesn’t have to stop eating chicken nuggets, because 'there are yummy vegan-chicken nuggets in grocery stores today that taste just like meat.'"
For the vegans who like the taste of meat, but can't stand the thought of eating actual meat. This sounds like an abomination.
Seriously, PETA, don´t you have more important issues to address?
Look at the picture of Alana holding her pet. Look at her face
she is so openly obviously genuinely happy and feeling love
does any one seriously think that Alana had ANY bad thoughts
connected with the name she chose for her pet?
The PETA people should be ashamed of bothering her.
What the hell is in a name anyway? I'm sure it will taste the same if she named the damn thing pecker head.
It's a conspiracy, quickly call Jesse Ventura!
