Paris Hilton Secretly Recorded Saying Most Gay Men Have AIDS: Will She Be Shunned by the Gay Community?

There are way too many media outlets. A person just can't say what they think and let it be done with anymore.

Paris Hilton had her privacy invaded and she is the victim.

She has freedom of speech. She did not say anything that was not true. So what is the problem.

If they wish to shun her that is fine. They can stop buying her clothing and perfume lines of merchandise.

As if anyone would take anything she says seriously. No one wants to agree with Paris Hilton. Plus I don't think she was at all popular in the gay community before. You can't shun something you never pay attention to before.

What I really, really hate about this whole story/controversy is that it's MAKING ME DEFEND PARIS HILTON.

So here's my defense of her: she really seems like she was reacting to her hot gay male model friends discussion of Grindr in NYC. In that context...what she said makes more than a little sense. Especially if you consider that she was likely warning her friend AWAY from dealing with guys on a site that caters to finding the closest guy for you to hook up with randomly.

I hope she is shunned by the press too! We need to eliminate one celebrity per week from the news and at the end of 20 years they will all be non news. Oh! I forgot, there will still be idiots out there who want that "news". Hey! Shut up and get a life!!!

I certainly hope she is shunned. It's quite ironic that gay men have been some of her biggest supporters (although I'm astonished as to why). I doubt they will be very impressed with her attitude now though. Having said that, I'm hardly surprised by what she said. It's what I'd expect from an overly pampered princess totally out of touch with the real world. Honestly darling, go have another snort of cocaine and drive DUI again.
