The last time we heard from Paris Hilton, she was getting arrested for possession of coke that "wasn't hers." Now she's got two things going for her: A topless shoot with FHM and a new album. The pictures are already out -- nothing too explicit -- but the album is still on the horizon. Not that she needs a new enterprise to stay afloat.

Hilton told FHM, "I have a huge passion for house music. It always has been my passion. I just haven't been able to focus on it, because I have been doing reality TV for so long now ... [My next album] is very modern and very catchy; perfect party music." She also says she's been researching music intensely this past year: "I've been to over 100 raves in the past year, so I've heard every type of music." She's into Neutral Milk Hotel, right? That was totally real. Do you think Paris Hilton is getting desperate?

I may be alone here, but I actually liked her first cd, so I wouldn't say she's "going big" necessarily but it doesn't seem that desperate either.

oh god why doesn't she do something she actually has skill in (which still remains to be unseen). i heard a song from her other cd and my god... the lyrics are about as deep as a puddle and she is so autotuned there's no point. i'm so tired of everyone in hollywood thinking they should make a cd.
