Hilton's team quickly went on damage control, claiming the cab driver secretly recorded Paris' conversation with a gay friend. Her rep also released a statement explaining that Paris's comments were taken out of context:
"Paris Hilton’s comments were to express that it is dangerous for anyone to have unprotected sex that could lead to a life threatening disease. The conversation became heated, after a close gay friend told her in a cab ride, a story about a gay man who has AIDS and is knowingly having unprotected sex. He also discussed a website that encourages random sex by gay men with strangers.
"As she was being shown the website her comments were in reference to those people promoting themselves on the site. The cab driver who recorded this, only provided a portion of the conversation. It was not her intent to make any derogatory comments about all gays. Paris Hilton is a huge supporter of the gay community and would never purposefully make any negative statements about anyone’s sexual orientation."

Who the hell cares? Since when has it become horrible to have and voice an opinion that's contrary to another's?
Everyone of these people that you have supplied quotes for is entitled to voice their opinion and they can tell each and every person that they later apologized to kiss their ass...They take the apology back.
For those of you that really got your knickers in a twist over this, explain the difference between her comments and the question posed earlier here on SH that stated "I'm gay and I hate conservatives....you got a problem with that?"
