"Paranormal Activity 4" may have just hit the theaters, but Paramount has already announced another sequel, according to Deadline Hollywood. "Paranormal Activity 5" will come out in time for Halloween 2013.
This isn't exactly surprising news. The Hollywood Reporter say that "Paranormal Activity 4" took in $26.5 million for its opening weekend, surpassing the opening takes for each of the previous two sequels in the series. It appears that the title is set to replace the "Saw" films as the top annual Halloween horror franchise.
In addition, Deadline Hollywood also reports that a Latino spinoff is planned and will be directed by Christopher Landon, who worked on the 2007 horror hit "Disturbia." An insider told them that "this will be an off-shoot aimed at the groups who have been the biggest supporters of the property –- Latinos and folks in Latin America –- Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina."

Rob Zombies Halloween 2!!! omg how can you not have this one listed???? that put the icing on the cake, i stopped watching and left the movies after the hospital scene when i seen where it was going, if that don't tell you how friggen horrable he did on that movie, then you don't know horror movies at all
Actually, most of these on this list are stupid, but AvP:R is a guilty pleasure and I actually liked Saw 3D. (The whole series, in fact.)
Lost Boys 2 was made by request of Corey Haim and Corey Feldman's fans while they were roomed up together on their reality show and it really didn't need to be made. Strangly, Part 3 was better, but by a small margin.
Aliens vs Predator: Requiem wasn't too bad to be honest.
The Saw movies became rather redundant after the second one. Part VI was a good finish.
Carrie 2 didn't need to be made, and I can say the same about the other sequels of movies based on a Stephen King story. I'm just waiting for someone to make a Christine 2 where a government mad scientist puts the cursed Plymoth Fury together from its crushed cube state and makes it a transforming robot. I've heard someone is planning on making a seqel to The Shining. Unless King wrote the story himself, don't make it.
Exorcist II, III... zzzz
Actually, I thought Jaws 3D was dumber. Made to introduce 3D tech to the audience along with Friday the 13th 3D, which actually wasn't bad compared to Part V, Part VIII and X and Freddy vs. Jason.
I'm going to say out o...

I'm going to say out of all the dumb sequels made, it would be Halloween III. All that move did is play on the whole Satanic Panic conspiracy theory and had nothing to do with the other Halloween movies.
