I love all of them but my favorite is the Salsa...I grew up with it. My mom was born in Puerto Rico and she had the natural movement and use to salsa all the time around our house..so I learned and it became a natural for me too.I use to go to salsa parties..It was so much fun too...Now it is so popular.....

Why didn't you have an ALL choice? LOL! Each is such a beautiful art. While there is slight similarity between the way the art is presented, may favorite is Tap. There have been and still are so many talented Tap artists. To me, Gregory Hines ia and shall always be the King of Tap.

They're all good dance styles. I think if you're performing, the Waltz will better display your skills (and your mistakes).

For sheer enjoyment, Salsa and Mambo. For sensuality, definitely the Tango. The Quickstep, Jive, and the Cha-Cha display exuberance and energy, while the Foxtrot allows a lot of elegance. Ballet, and Hip Hop probably best display strength and control, and the precision of Tap dancing can thrill the audience.

I love Rock N Roll also known as BeBop, as I am from that era, but I also like all the other dances too, even if I can't do them. I have won many latin dance contests in the late 50s and early 60s before Salsa came out. Although I am almost 70, I still go dancing one night every weekend because I like it and for my exercise...LOL

Slow waltz. I am a competent slow waltzer. I have a dream that one of these days that I will be able to be a competent Viennese waltzer, as it was done in the 1800's. I'm already practicing a little for it, but my wife is not quite on board yet. I don't have much interest in modern Viennese waltz.

I also want to learn some of the other old ballroom dances: schottische, galop, polka, etc.
