"Silver Linings Playbook"
Some oddsmakers think "Silver Linings Playbook," which has been praised for its handling of mental illness, has a shot at the top prize. It's all about Jennifer Lawrence these days, isn't it?

Jennifer! Anne! Jessica! Sure, we'll be watching to see what (and who) Hollywood's biggest stars are wearing at this Sunday's 85th Academy Awards, but we also want to know who will walk away with the top prizes — including Best Picture.
This year, nine films are nominated in Oscar's most coveted category: "Silver Linings Playbook" (featuring megawatt stars Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper); "Les Miserables" (the one Anne Hathaway got super-skinny for); "Lincoln" (Daniel Day-Lewis may go down in Best Actor history for this one); "Argo" (the one Ben Affleck has been snubbed for); "Django Unchained," Quentin Tarantino's controversial "slavery comedy"; "Zero Dark Thirty" (the bin Laden movie); the big-screen adaptation of "Life of Pi"; octogenarian romance "Amour"; and fantasy flick "Beasts of the Southern Wild."
Despite all the talk about Affleck's snub in the Best Director category, "Argo" is considered by many prognosticators to be the top contender to take home the little gold bald guy. But should it?

Les Miserables SHOULD win. But it simply will not because you can't have a Catholic/Christian themed movie getting attention in the age of Obama.
I'm going to put my money either on Argo, another picture worthy of Best Picture, or Lincoln. I might even put more money on Lincoln because a leftist such as Spielberg redefining a Republican president has liberal Hollywood licking their chops. Watch what happens. Then come back here and rave me and say, "Geez Frog! You were right!"
Read thiis. Ben Shapiro can articulate this far better than I ever could. I'm very suspicious that all the Hollywood leftist blowhards are suddenly embracing Spielberg's Lincoln.
I still think Batman should be in there over Amour.
Lincoln or Les Mis
