Osama Bin Laden Cast For ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ Would you watch it?
War
Kathryn Bigelow’s Zero Dark Thirty
is already in post-production, which is an interesting time to find out
who will actually play the infamous Osama bin Laden in the film.
It’s a dangerous part for an actor to start his career with — playing one of the world’s most evil men and all —
but that hasn’t put British actor Ricky Sekhon off the role. In fact,
he’s taking the job so seriously that he even lost 28 lbs in an effort
to get closer to bin Laden’s 165 lbs weight.
Zero Dark Thirty will follow the hunt for bin Laden and his
assassination by US special forces on the Pakistani border last year.
The film bears a striking resemblance to Robert Pattinson Mission: Blacklist, coming out next year, which will follow the team that captured Saddam Hussein.
Sekhon is remaining very secretive about the part, simply saying in an interview with The Playlist:
[I have] a part in it, but I can’t talk about it, as I’m on quite a big non-disclosure agreement.
He’s apparently already filmed all his scenes, and it’s good to see
him taking the controversial role so seriously. The spot-on casting
(Sekhon is a dead ringer for bin Laden), combined with the fact that
Bigelow shot the film extensively on location in the Middle East,
hopefully means that we’ll get the most accurate portrayal possible of
the events leading up to that fateful raid.
Well, as accurate as an American take on the events can get…
Zero Dark Thirty hits theaters December 19.

It seems pretty interesting
