ATLANTA (AP) A new Christmas ornament will honor the state Capitol's 120th anniversary.
The ornament is being released by the Friends of Georgia Archives and History. Officials chose the theme to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the historic building. The ornament will feature a gold cutout of the Capitol's gilded dome, its most identifiable feature, as well as a banner reading ``Georgia State Capitol 2009.''
Organizer Timothy Crimmins says sales of the ornament support the states historic flag collection and activities of the Friends group.
