Boise State lost to TCU too. http://espn.go.com/college-fo... here is the AP Top 25, the BCS rankings don't come out until tonight but Alabama is projected to be #3 and Oregon is projected to be #4. Oregon gets into a BCS bowl and wins the Pac-12 for the 3rd straight year now.
Oregan looked tough against Stanford. They looked pretty good against LSU. They lost that game with dumb turnovers. LSU just has a way of making their opponent do that. I think most people would agree that Bama looked like the better team against LSU. But again, Bama just shot itself in the foot repeatedly and LSU scored more points. But that is what makes a team great. LSU just finds ways to win, I'm certainly not taking anything away from them.
I tell you though, watch out for that Arkansaw-LSU game here in a few weeks. Bama absolutely crushed Arkansaw. Trent Richardson didn't even take a snap in the fourth quarter. We were outside throwing the football around by the end of the 3rd quarter. It wasn't even a game. But, I bet Arkansaw gives LSU fits. They just might have a better chance of beating them than anyone else they play. I don't know why, but Bama always struggles with LSU. Arkansaw almost never beats Bama. And LSU always has hard time with Arkansaw. I don't know why, it's just the way it has been for the last 10 years or so.
Oregon looked better on offense against LSU and Alabama looked better on defense against LSU but the Alabama-LSU game was a closer game then the Oregon-LSU game. Oregon scored the most points against LSU then any other team that LSU has played this season. LSU also scored the most points against Oregon then any other team Oregon has played this season. Oregon's 27 points is also the least amount of points that they have scored this season too. It was Alabama's kicker's fault that they lost though. How many field goals did he miss against LSU? 3 or 4? I know he had a blocked one too. He can't be worse then the Stanford's kicker. Stanford has the worse kicker I have ever seen. Oregon's kicker isn't good either but he's a lot better then Stanford's. Stanford's kicker missed a field goal, it was about 47 yards out and he missed it by about a mile. It looked like he was trying to kick it in the parking lot. It was a dumb call by the Stanford's coach though because he should have gone for it, they were down by 13. His kicker already missed an extra point. His kicker missed a 32 field goal but Stanford had a false start and it was after the wristtle was blew so Stanford's kicker had another shot and he made the 37 yard field goal. That was the only field goal he made...

It was the first game Stanford had lost since they lost to Oregon last year. Both losses were 3 score games.
Bama's kicker missed 4 kicks. And the blocked one was the kicker's fault. I think it hit some unsuspecting lineman in the ear hole. That was also a bad call on that interception that they gave LSU at our 1 yard line. We would have scored 7 IF that play was called the other way. But, you know what they say about "IF": "IF my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle".
Alabama lose that game because of their missed field goals and Oregon lost their game against LSU because of their turnovers. They had 4 turnovers in that game and they have 12 in the season.
We should be able to beat them if we have Trent Richardson and LaMicheal James at running back. If Alabama and Oregon joined forces they would beat LSU with all of those great players they both have. I hold a grudge against them too. After that game I thought Oregon didn't have a shot to go to the National Championship because usually 1 loss teams don't make it. Oregon is ranked #4 now. When Oklahoma was ranked ahead of Oregon a couple week ago, I was pissed because Oklahoma can't even beat Texas Tech. Oklahoma is ranked #5, they are overrated if they lost to Texas Tech.
Incredible... and Boise loses at home... Kstate in four OTs... what a weekend...
and Penn State without JoePa... wow...what is this? College football at it's best...bark
I think Oregon could beat Arkansas or South Carolina on a neutral field but I don't think they could beat LSU or Alabama. Last year they lost to Auburn who was the SEC champion and the score was 22-19 and Auburn kicked a field goal to win, that was a good game, I was just pissed that Auburn won. Oregon will get a BCS bowl and win the Pac-12 for the 3rd straight year.
I think we are going to beat LSU and I think we could beat Oregon! We got one of the best quaterbacks in the nation and our wide recievers are awesome!!
I'm sorry, I want Arkansas to win but I think LSU will win. LSU can beat anyone in the country right now. The only team that could beat them is Alabama and I don't want a re-match of that game in the National Championship. We got the best running back in college though. We got Kenjon Barner who's the back-up running back but he's really good and he gets a lot of playing time. We got De'Anthony Thomas, he's only a freshman but he's fast. It would be a close game if Arkansas and Oregon played each other though.
Good luck, I'm biased but I think Oregon will win. USC couldn't even beat Stanford at home and Oregon is better then Stanford and the game is up in Eugene. Oregon has won 21 in a row up there.
I know, but Oregon won by 3 scores on the road. I watched the USC & Stanford game and it was one hell of a game. I was rooting for USC because that would have helped Oregon in the rankings but now that Oregon became the first team to beat Stanford since Oregon beat them last year in Eugene. Stanford won 17 in a row after that game. Oregon is a lot better then Stanford though. Stanford had 5 turnovers against Oregon and they never lead at any point in the game. It should be a good game but USC hasn't won at Autzen since 2005.
Started watching the game when the Bama game went off. Oregon dominated!!! Can't believe Stanford threw like 5 interceptions. Luck was overrated. Good grief. GO DUCKS!!! & Roll Tide :)
Okay, well I missed most of the game. You know what I mean, fumbles, interceptions, whatever, it's still screwing up and giving the ball to the other team. Lol. The #4 football team in the country should have been capable of holding onto and protecting the football. Oregon did what they should have and took advantage of those mistakes.
It is comic relief.

But, I'll give them their much earned respect, they are the best right now. Real badasses. Geaux Tigers!
j/k
suck me LSU!
