Oprah Winfrey is not usually one to apologize, but she found herself in the hot seat this weekend when she tried to promote an upcoming episode of "Oprah's Next Chapter." On Sunday, the media mogul tweeted, "Every 1 who can please turn to OWN especially if u have a Neilsen [sic] box." Well, Nielsen, the company that measures television ratings by monitoring the viewing habits of select households, was not impressed with her message.
According to The New York Times, Nielsen is calling the tweet a violation of their policy, and will now have to footnote the numbers for that episode to point out the "possible biasing effect" of the tweet. A Nielsen spokeman explained, "It is Nielsen's policy to note attempts to single out panel members to either change their viewing habits or otherwise influence or affect their reporting." Oprah has since apologized for the desperate tweet, telling The New York Times, "I intended no harm and apologize for the reference." Do you think Oprah's tweet crossed the line -- or was she just trying to promote her show?

Yes+15Yes,,,she crossed the line when she supported Obama. She never mixed in politics until then. She lost a lot of support. And the whole country is in a mess and due to Obama's policies she is exactly what the poser is going after. GOOD!!!

THEIR SHOWS. THAT'S WHY ADVERTISEMENT INDUSTRY FOR. WHAT'S WRONG
WITH THAT?
therefor she was wrong.
I also think it's time for her to retire.
I've also noted that I only know liberals that watch her.
Personally I can't stand her. I've seen (when channel surfing) idiot guests on her show so I stopped thinking anything good about her a long time ago.
Booo Oprah... Can't stand you, retired already.
Not sure that is the case from the information though.
If there was no signed contract then working to get people to watch is just promotion.
Relatively small office, about 100 employees. One day the boss decided to redo the floor his and her office was on. He and everyone but her got some fancy, very expensive top of line new desks. This office manager felt slighted, flew off the handle went to the boss to bitch. He flatly told her she wasn't getting one, forget about it.
She thought the boss would be out of town a few days later, I come in, see her with a couple guys pushing one of those fancy heavy new desks into her office. Half way through the doorway the boss walked in. Fired her ass on the spot. Yeah, Oprah being a diva for so long and everybody afraid to tell her no to anything isn't use to rejection ot reality.
She is on her way out. She should have never discussed Politics and Religion when she opened her mouth on these she started on her way down, her flame has lost its fire.
