    I hate Matt Smith with a fiery passion. He's a stupid emo kid and needs to go back to where he belongs.

    Some people say that he's too young to be the doctor, I just say that we need to give him a CHANCE. I mean, Peter Davison was only 2/3? years older than him and nobody complianed then. Christopher Eccleston was great and I like David Tennant and i'll miss him. However, I am looking forward to seeing what Matt does with the role.

    And as for the 'Who?!!' Well. Do we really want someone who's already well known in the media? It would ruin it because in everyone's eyes they'd be 'that person' rather than 'the doctor.'

    He looks like he will do a good job. Only time will tell, though :)

    and TECHNICALLY he's the twelfth Doctor, Tennant regenerated twice.

    I dunno... it'll take some getting used to, I suppose, and I'll still watch the show... but I guess I'll just have to wait and see how he does.

    i really don't care. but i don't like it when people say "oh! he's going to suck!" give him a chance. see episodes. i won't make any judgments until i do

    I reckon he will do fine. He has the right amount of "distinctly odd" for the role. He has some blood massive shoes to fill though, lets hope he can pull it off.

    Cool, never heard of him, but so far the choices have been great. Maybe he'll bring some cheekiness to the role. We'll have to wait and see. Be interesting to see what leads to Tennant's regeneration.
