O.J. Simpson Rejects Oprah Interview: Is She to Blame for His Bad Reputation?

O.J. Simpson has a lot of nerve. First he was hunting for the real killers, now he's blaming Oprah for his bad reputation. Simpson has declined to be interviewed by Oprah Winfrey because he feels she's "partially responsible for him being in jail now," The New York Daily News reports.

o j simpson

O.J.'s former promoter, Norman Pardo, says Oprah's OWN network wants to land the first interview with Simpson from his Nevada jail cell, where he's serving a 33-year sentence for kidnapping, robbery and using a deadly weapon.

Pardo says Oprah wants Simpson “to go on her show and confess” to the 1994 murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman (Simpson, of course, was acquitted of two counts of murder in 1995). But he's not going to do it, because he "doesn’t like Oprah."

"He feels like she’s partially responsible for him being in jail now,” Pardo tells the News, explaining that Oprah has been "one-sided," bringing only people who would talk about "how bad [Simpson] was" on to "The Oprah Winfrey Show." Maybe that's because there are only bad things to say?

He is a murderer. He is a killer. Robert Kardashian needs either a reality check, or he is just as guilty as OJ. OJ is in a cycle of self destruction due to the fact that he now has to live for the rest of my life with the knowledge of what he has done. He is the only one that has to look himself in the mirror. He pretended to kill himself during the chase, to put on a "show". He was just trying to pretend that he cared, so he thought he would feign suicide to do it. Someone as self-absorbed as OJ would never really kill them-self. They would only ever pretend too. Maybe once he starts to be honest with himself about what he has done, then he will finally be able to off himself once and for all. And Robert K is a pig for sticking up for a murderer. WHAT is going on in his head? So in the mean time, watch OJ strugle, because now he has to live each day knowing the truth of his toxic behavior. And what kind of legal system lets OJ get off these charges with all the evidence against him. Totally absurd.

There are the die-hard OJ fans, then there are those who know OJ made his bed and now is laying in it. Oprah might have influenced BHO's presidency, but not OJ's demise.

I don't really care for Oprah, but to insinuate that she is responsible for his problems is rather asinine. OJ's only problem... is OJ, himself.

He is in a Nevada jail because he was found guilty of crimes, fortunately Nevada did not have the climate LA did when he got lucky... He could not learn, instead, he became even more grandiose, & thought he could do whatever he wanted... surprise!

OJ did that all on his own! At one time was at the top of his game, he was idolized by millions of sports fans, commercials and everything else in the book but the man has fallen so far he will never get it back. The best thing OJ can do is just Shut the F up and take it like a man. If he wants to blame anyone he just needs to look in the mirror and he will see the person to blame! HIMSELF AND HIS OWN EGO!

O>J> stacked one jury and got away with murder 1. Too damned bad for that murdering spoiled A** hole that he could not stack the jury in Nevada. I hope he rots in jail right where he belongs. Only thing wrong is Al Cowlings got away scot free. Any one that disagrees with this is a son-of-a-bi**h

Yep, Romney could have been a little more diplomatic about it and the 47% figure is actually about 40%....but it is the straight truth. Obama is turning this nation into an entitlement society, a nanny state, with currently almost half of the people on some kind of government handouts. They will never vote for Romney in fear of losing those handouts. They are not only "victims," they have been enslaved.

It was probably a set up and he, unfortunately fell for it.
