Gotta give the man credit, he completely managed to shed his old cheesy early 90's "white guy rapper" image and became a very good actor. Most actors would never be able to shake this off.
For those not old enough to remember, Mark Whalberg made his debut as "Marky Mark" of Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. I'm pretty sure they played this song at the school dance when I was in 8th grade...
