aceshowbiz.com - Although Twilight author Stephenie Meyer included several My Chemical Romance songs on her semi-official book soundtracks, singer Gerard Way was quick to dispel any rumors that they would take her up on any offer for the official New Moon soundtrack.

When asked, Way snubbed the vampire flick saying "I don't think so. We're very choosy. ... There were a few films that we didn't do the song for because it didn't fit. i can understand that, thats probably not their kind of vampire movie. although I'm Not Okay (I Promise) would fit if you ask me. I mean come on, all the pictures you took with your boyfriend...? It fits!

Okay, i lllooove mcr, i hate it when ppl compair them to emo and gothic,,,,, ITS JUST MUSIC and its pretty fricken aweesomeme music , Twilight, my other love , i would think it would be awesome to see mcr songs on the new moon sound track !!!! but if they dont want there songs put on the soundtrack then thts there choice ,,, get over it !

My comment is that the press wasn't appropriately objective on this. Shame on the author. Regardless of my thoughts on either Twilight or My Chemical Romance, Mr. Way was nothing but polite and politically correct about declining any potential offers. He did not "snub the vampire flick".

This post is only creating drama.

its ok they have the right to play for who they choose. and i agreee it wouldnt fit. i like twilight but i love my chemical romance more. way to go my chemical romance i like your decision

I'm kinda happy about this go Gee don't downgrad yourself to the meaningless bullshit twilight is.I'm so not into all the girlyness of it and MCR music aint fit with sparkly "vegetarian vampires god its so wrong.MCR's vampires are my type hot sexy blood thirsty.Allow I'd proble watch it if you guys were on it but do you really need it youre realesing an album at the end of the year YAY!

I love Twilight and I love MCR. It would have been kewl for them to be on the soundtrack but if they decided against it then thats totally up to them. I still love both!

i really think it was a good choice. i love vampires and i love mcr, but i dont like twilight. its bad for the reputations of vampires. i like to stick with the vampires i have grown to love over the years no this twilight shit. Everyone may like it but i dont. GO GERARD. I AGREE WITH YOU.
