Soooo... I’ve been spending a good load of time actually doing my school work, but I like to do more than one thing at once, it helps me focus (don’t ask), and normally that thing would be Sodahead and the like.... BUUUUT since I was banned for porn (“lolwut!?”), I’ve been frequenting dA more than usual... and recently I’ve also been on a bit of a Nightwing kick, and as a result, a Dick Grayson kick (I fucking love him, seriously).

Anyhow, I was searching for fanart, and the thing with Dick is that you can’t search for him without managing to come across a whole lot of slashiness... whether it’s with Bruce, Tim, Slade, Wally... or any other number of various super heroes, you get lots of male on male type art work. No complaints, to be honest; I like art, so as long as it’s good, I’m there... even better if it’s got some erotic undertones (what? I’m young, sex is always near the forefront of my mind... I can’t help that).

So, I came across this piece. I was reading through the comments and found quite a rude little flame... so I investigated. What? Can’t help myself, part of me missed the confrontational nature of Sodahead... besides, this one was laughable enough that I knew I was unlikely to go ape-shit and get banned (plus dA admins don’t hate me with a passion...and I've yet to see them ban anyone without good reason).

You know, I fully understand being a bit squicked out with the under-aged factor, but honestly? If you don't like homosexual themed artwork, don't look at it. Would it not have been easier to simply ignore the piece rather than flame the artist, who, by the way, is quite talented and does not deserve such disrespect? Indeed, it would have. Clearly, you have some deep-seated psychological issues if you search out things you do not like just to insult them. You're an odd fellow, mate, and I highly suggest you seek professional therapy of some sort. Cheers!

Er, mate? Notice how I said I understand how the under-age thing might squick someone out? I'm hardly defending paedophilia, but the suggestiveness of Slade's relationship with Dick, and even more so, Dick's relationship with Bruce Wayne, is hard to ignore. Therefore, in the DC universe, one must learn to just accept such things. Besides, he's nearly 18, and clearly you know very little about Dick Grayson and his whole story if you can ignore the homoerotic themes that are suggested throughout his story. And if you didn't want to see it, why would you click on it and visit the piece? That seems most illogical. As said before, just ignore it.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with homosexuality, you silly boy. If you think there is, then yes, you really ought to seek therapy.

I don't do drugs, love, so clearly I wasn't on any kind of acid. You're quite a laugh, you know that? Going around, flaming innocent artists for no reason, then trying to defend said action by claiming "It just came up." As said, you didn't need to follow the link to the piece.
