How can one be arrested simply for "resisting arrest?" Didn't the "resisting" have to be preceded by an attempt to arrest the person for an original charge?

And just what the hell does "SEARCH-UNCLASSIF" mean?

I am having a hard time believing that Adrian Peterson is guilty as charged. Last year a rogue cop sited my grandson (while doing his job for the city) as obstructing city business and resisting arrest. Well it was proven that he did neither, he was city business, and because he kept asking questions as to why the cop was harrassing him, he then wrote him up as resisting arrest. So until I hear more, I find it hard to believe these charges as legit.

Many cops are on a power trip, and unfortunately its all over the United States of America. I have found that it pays to know who your district congress people are, so that when you feel you've been violated or abused, you can bring attention to the subject and have him or her dealt with.

i'm not saying they're all like that,i've know of really cool cops, and i htink the public will cooperate better with a cop that is clean and cool, some though provoke things, they did it to my brother, was ridiculous

The sad thing is that the crooked or rogue cop, causes people to just be leary of police officers in general. Even at my age, I keep my distance from police officers.
