New Pic of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman: Feisty Feline or Forget It?

Despite the photos that were going around, we haven't had a chance to see Anne Hathaway in full-on Catwoman mode. We've seen her in black leather and on a bike, but the cat ears and face mask have been withheld until...

Christopher Nolan's decision to bring Hathaway on board as Catwoman has given fans of his "Batman" film series a bit of a scare. It's not that fans particularly dislike Hathaway; they're just not sure she's superhero material. Especially not as Catwoman, a role that has already suffered at least one bad attempt. (We're looking at you, Halle.)
Based on this picture, we're about as torn as we were before. Hathaway's gait seems a little awkward for a woman who's supposed to be emulating a cat, and we're not sure 5-inch heels are all that practical for someone of her athletic persuasion. (Then again, neither are leather and cat ears, so who's counting?)
"The Dark Knight Rises" still has about 10 months to go before it hits theaters. It's currently slated for a July 20, 2012, release, so we'll reserve our final judgments until we can see Hathaway in action. Let's just hope she puts a little more slink into her step by then.

If she took on a more relaxed, sexy, easy going attitude in the costume I think it would look better. However this is just on the set, she might look better in the actual filming.
