Meet SodaHead's new favorite artist of the week! Last week we introduced you to Birdy and this week we can't stop listening to Milo Greene. Milo Greene is not a real person, but rather a fictitious booking agent conjured up to meet the band members' scheduling needs in the beginning of their careers. Now that they have a record label they don't need Milo anymore, but after all of his help over the years they figured they had to keep him around.

Milo Greene is a 5-piece indie band that describes themselves as "a collection of voices that live and breathe simultaneously with the breadth of an omniscient, collective consciousness" -- but don't let that keep you from listening to them. Everyone can identify with the themes explored on their debut, self-titled album and they will easily win you over with their single "1957." Once you delve into 200+ BPM, the genres get kinda blurry. Gabber is based on an Eastern European style and usually features that famous square shaped kick drum with distortion. Breakcore is usually gabber/UK hardcore with an amen style break. I don't really like breakcore that much because the kick drum overpowers the rest of that the style is trying to acomplish. Well breakcore has an industrial influence. mainly because I'm an industrial punk. Its not bad, but I recommand you get industrial(aggrotech) influence with it so you'd stand out more.

I actually just downloaded some of the old songs I used to listen to but sort of forgot about as time went by. I've been listening to songs from the early 2000s, 1990's and 1980's lately.

These AMAZING cover artists Savannah Outen with her cover of Yesterday by the Beatles and Boyce Avenue with Because of You by Neyo..honestly,these songs are all I've been listening to.

Oh dear, I'm too old to know what you are talking about. Don't laugh, it will happen to you one day. I can remember when the Beatles first came out and they came to America. I was 22 with a young toddler and far too busy with household and childcare to take note of pop music. Basically it was over for me right then. Popular music I enjoy only if I can understand the words or tap my feet to a beat but so much these days seems to lack that.
