Rumors were floating around a couple days ago that an Apple employee had seen a new product number floating around in the database - and that the numbers coincided with the battery levels of a Macbook Air. Well, I guess he was right.
Apple released their Macbook Air with surprising subtlety; the laptop popped up on their website without notice, though the images accompanying the Air are stunning. The laptop measures in with a .75 inch thickness, weighs in at 3 pounds, and comes equipped with 13.3 inch screen with 1280-by-800 resolution. It boasts a 128 GB hard drive, a VIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics card and comes from a single cut of aluminum ("replacing dozens of parts," making it "greener"). The Air also runs at 1.86GHz or 2.13GHz (depending on how much you want to fork over) and hosts 2 GB of DDR3 memory. Oh, and the keyboard lights up in low-light situations!
The Macbook Air is certainly stunning in appearance, and not too bad of a laptop regarding performance. But would you be willing to fork over $1499 for one?

Linux ? that's it and it doesn't need a fast CPU and it can't really do much that needs a fast CPU
It is just so small, and the hardware is to slow (for the price). :(
