Unfortunately, the NBA does not move me - it is more like a freak show than a basketball game.

I grew up in Baltimore, and used to watch the Baltimore Bullets play in the Eastern League, then in the Basketball Association of America, and then in the newly merged NBA, which they won in their first year.

I remember such greats as Buddy Jeannette, Stan Stutz, Moe Dubilier, Carl Braun, Joe Fulks, and Dolph Schayes. That was a long time ago, and a different game ago.

youve got that right.. i remember watching the bullets when wes unseld,phil chenier, and those 70s bullets teams that were good or great for a 12 year period. ive been a celtics fan for 30 yrs but ive always liked the bullets toughness.i was so irritated when they changed the name to the wizards because the name bullets has ''violent connotations'' gimme a break.
