Stories are now surfacing that sometime during the last few weeks, the cause of Natalie Wood’s passing on her official death certificate was changed from “accident” to “undetermined.” In 1981, the actress’ body was found near the yacht she had been on with her husband Robert Wagner and friend Christopher Walken.

Natalie Wood s Cause of Death Changed from Accident to Undetermined u2019 Do You Think She Was Murdered

Though there was always speculation about the cause of death, it was officially ruled an accident at the time. Last year, the case was re-opened when new evidence surfaced about the cause of Wood’s death. But that investigation was declared a bust and ended as quickly as it began. Now reports are out that sometime in late June, the death certificate had quietly been changed without a lot of fanfare. According to TMZ, investigators have found no new evidence but feel that because of the bruising on her body the case should have been marked as “undetermined” all along.

Of course rumors have been circulating for over 30 years that hubby Wagner was responsible for his wife’s death after an argument broke out. Others speculate that it was, indeed, an accident, brought on by a fight over the insinuations that Wood and Walken were having a fling. No one knows for sure what happened that night, but it’s unlikely the answer will ever be revealed. What do you think: Was Natalie Wood murdered?

I remember watching this story unfold and not being satisfied by the verdict. I wasn't convinced she just fell overboard unnoticed. I was a fan of her work and saddened by her death.

I don't know. At this point in time does it really matter? I believe it would if there was evidence to convict her killer, but apparently, there's not, so what I think is irrelevant. The whole thing just reminds of the sick joke-

Question- Why didn't Natalie take a bath the night before she died?

Answer- She assumed she'd wash up on shore in the morning.

Nancy Grace claims to have evidence that Natalie Wood was murdered by Casey Anthony. When it was called to Nancy's attention that Natalie died before Casey was born, Nancy claimed it was just a "flimsy excuse" cooked up by a defense attorney and that no sane jury would buy the defense!

Speculaton and conspiracy theory surrounding her death will exist until "reverse mortgage" bob and Chris Walken die. Look it was the 70s, these people drank and used drugs that would make any drunk jealous. Undetermined, only means they can't determine the cause. I've known a lot of people who get on boats and drink to excess, and a few have fallen over boat, hit their head, and had it not been for other people being around, the unconscious drunk would have drowned.

Actually not per se murdered but I believe she was drunk and out of control to the point they were fed up with her and that she fell overboard and they made no attempt to save her.

It might have been an "accidental" murder but there are too many strange, unanswered circumstances where things just do not click. Very sad things like this happen.

It was known to everyone that she could not swim. I was a fan and I knew that and she was deathly afraid of the water.. and she did not want to go on the yacht in the first place. Back in the days after her death they thought she got into the small boat to go ashore and fell over...my azz..So I do not believe for one second she got into that little boat and was going to take herself to shore...some one who is that afraid of water does not do that...

I don't think it was premeditated but I do think she could have been saved. It's also probable that those involved were too f----- up to realize the seriousness of what was happening.

I have to say no, because I don't know. I had heard a long time ago that she had drowned in the water, It may be possible her bruises came from hitting something in the water or she could have hit the boat, got bruised and hit something in the water to bring on more bruising. If she was murdered, the one that did it will pay one day...either here on earth or at judgement time or both.

I always thought that Wagner had something to do with Natalie's death. It was as if they just decided because she was in the water that it had to be an accident. Who knows why it happened - but I just know that Wagner knew more than he reported.

First of all, she was not a "starlet". She was a genuine, big-time movie star who had been acting since childhood and undoubtedly one of the most beautiful women in the world. No one will ever know what really happened unless Wagner or Walken give more info but the circumstances were definitely suspicious.

I'd like to think not, but it's possible.
I find it insulting that she's referred to as a "starlet" in the inbox question. She was not a starlet, she was a genuine actress.

I'm a big fan of Wagner & Woods. They carried themselves well and there was never any scandalous gossip about their relationship prior to the incident. Back in the day, Christopher Walken was very good looking. There was probably some chemistry between them, but I doubt that anyone acted on it. My feeling is that they may have had too much to drink and argued. MAYBE they had too much to drink; she and RJ had words, she was embarrassed, refused to go to sleep and thought she would make her point by leaving. Granted, she was known to be afraid of water but alcohol tends to give people just enough courage to make fools of us all. It was already established that Walken had gone to sleep as had RJ. She was alone and may have had more to drink before she decided to get into the dingy and leave. I think Mr. Wagner chose to protect her image and say as little as possible about the event. Walken followed suit...pure class.
