Sorry guys -- Natalie Portman is officially off the market. The beautiful Oscar-winner tied the knot on Saturday night with her fiancé of two years, French dancer and choreographer Benjamin Millepied, a source confirmed for
People.
Portman, 31, met Millepied, 35, on the set of "Black Swan," where he was a choreographer. In December 2010, the couple announced they were engaged and expecting their first child. Their son, Aleph, is now 14 months old.
We're happy for Natalie, who's been brimming with happiness since the day she announced her engagement. But we have to wonder ... can a Hollywood marriage even last? Especially when she is so much more famous than he is?
I with that anonymous from V for Vandetta didn't die. They would have made a cut couple.
A dancer named millipede? Seriously? This isn't a Pixar character?
Talent---while there, of course---is quite rare. Since there's no such thing as originality (everything has been done before at some point), quality counts a lot. Those are rare, too. Hollywood's just glitz, glam, and stories. Old Hollywood is much better, I think. I do love the movies, shows, books, stars we have today don't get me wrong, but some of it, like that God-awful Jersey Shore, is disgraceful.
but for the most part, no
They enjoyed one of the happiest and most loving marriages talked about in the 20th Century. Their marriage lasted because of their love, sacrifice and sharing of deep values. Many Hollywood celebs practice more narcissism today.
Of course they can. You just never hear about them when they do.
