I doubt that many of them were either. If so many of these people really cared about her they wouldn't have sat back and watched her ruin her life with drug abuse. They only care once someone dies so that they can use it to try and advance their own fame

I use to abuse drugs and no the struggle you can go through with trying to get " clean " Addiction is no laughing matter. It's sad and I am sorry to hear it happened.

Luckily for her she found JESUS CHRIST just days before her death. God bless her for that and I will see you in heaven.

In the days and hours before her death, Whitney Houston was reportedly preoccupied with religion and telling friends she "felt like her time was coming," according to TMZ. On Friday night at a club in Hollywood, Houston reportedly told a friend, “I'm gonna go see Jesus. I want to see Jesus.” And the next morning, the troubled singer was reportedly discussing a bible passage involving John the Baptist and Jesus when she flashed a big smile and told a friend, “You know, he's so cool. I really want to see that Jesus.”

We seem to think more about celebrities when they die unexpectedly. While it is sad, cause she was only 48 and has a young daughter, she lived that life, the life where young entertainers are more likely to die young. I know all the details have not been released, so we are left wondering, was she alone, could someone have helped her, was it accidental or suicide?

Whitney Housten's death is tragic, just like all of the other drug addicts who lose their personal battle with addiction, but, personally, I'm more affected by the young "children" that have died in our wars.

I was affected not personally but on the larger scale. We see too many talented people killing themselves with overdose of alcohol or drugs or combinations. Whitney was a special voice and will never be duplicated. There will be other great singers of course but she was an unusual combination of Beauty and Talent. Like Mario Lanza in the past there will never be another one to match. Mario Lanza Whitney Houston

It's sad, but I had no personal connection to her and she wasn't a favorite artist of mine so her death hasn't done any emotional damage to me.

On a personal level, drugs have taken another one. She had to want recovery as much as we wanted it for her. That is the extent of my emotional tie to this She sang beautifully and what she contributed to the entertainment industry will be truly missed.

She was a drug addict. But of course, such as Jimmy Hendricks, and other drug addicts, Hollywood makes an idol of them. She made her own misery. I have no mercy for someone who refuse to change her life. Depression is not the answer, and now everybody is crying over her. Blame Her, not the doctors, or the drugs. If you want to speak highly of an individual- the person down below is a role model. But, look who we are living with? Demons. Liberal Demon-crats who will cheer for anyone who is either a drug addict, a whore, or a homo. Period. The ones that need to be on the top list of role models are boring to them. Go down the street and kill a hundred people, and the demons will make a statue of you. Roman 1 verse 26-32,. We are living in it! sectartary of state

My first wife and I won a radio concert contest to get tickets. The 1980's concert was amazing . The audience was mesmerized. Her voice is a standard that other female artists aspire to and will live on.

Whitney was one of my first concerts, ever. I still remember it like it was yesterday. It was an outdoor venue and despite her being 45 minutes late, she still stunned us all with a voice that was incomparable. I feel sorry that she felt prey to an awful addiction. I can only hope she finds peace now. Her voice will always be remembered in my heart with fond memories of my life at that time.

And it looked as if she was, so to here this. Is just soo idk...I'm soo just heartbroken. For her and her famliy! All my prayers go out to them!

I will never forgot the first Whitney song I ever heard. I was *Graduating* from kindergarten lol....This is the song they played.

I dont think that's very nice of you! She was still someones daughter, sister, mother. You should have more sympathy at a time like this. Some people fall into deep depressions and end up turning to drugs & alcohol for whatever reasons, they do. It’s still sad when someone passes away.
