In a press release, MTV have announced that it's greenlit “The Show with Vinny,” a new show starring Vinny Guadagnino from the recently cancelled “Jersey Shore.” Apparently, the show will be “a hybrid talk show/reality series” with an unusual format.

Vinny will interview “the biggest celebrities” in his mother’s home in Staten Island, while they eat a meal that she has prepared. Meanwhile, Vinny’s “peanut gallery of loved ones,” such as his Uncle Nino, will interject with comments and questions of their own.

According to MTV, “celebrities will let their guard down to have a meal and a candid conversation about whatever comes up.” They haven’t released details of any guests expected to appear on the show, and there is currently no date set for the premiere. The show will be produced by Jersey Shore creator SallyAnn Salsano. Do you think the cast of “Jersey Shore” will ever go away?

I'm not sure why that was so objectionable...but okay.
(Hint, hint)
There are over a hundred stations on my cable and most of them feature reality shows about narcissistic morons.
On the upside, there is a network called Antenna TV on my cable station 295. At midnight it runs reruns of Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
